Plasma rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation is the most popular field of modern aesthetic cosmetology. Moreover, today, more and more often, progressive non-invasive (without violating the integrity of the skin) and even non-contact methods of exposure are preferred. And one of the innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).

plasma skin rejuvenation procedure

Most, if not all, types of skin renewal are based on the principle of controlled damage to the skin, which triggers the regeneration process, which ultimately leads to a decrease in the visible signs of aging. The plasma method works in the same way, but with a few tricks.

First, the active substance, plasma, is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and suppresses tissue combustion and displaces oxygen required for the oxidation process. As a result, the layers of the skin are damaged by plasma (due to heating, cleavage and evaporation), but they do not burn out as under the influence of ablative lasers, therefore no open wounds are formed. This approach reduces the risk of side effects such as scars, infections and discoloration.

What to expect from plasma rejuvenation

Reducing existing age-related changes, preventing their progression and early appearance. The procedure has a pronounced lifting effect (due to the "evaporation" of the skin flap), smoothes the skin relief by reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, softening the course of natural folds, improving and smoothing the skin tone. In addition, the result not only appears shortly after the start of the course of treatment, but also increases gradually over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after approx. 3 months.

Indications for use

  1. Non-surgical blepharoplasty.
  2. Treatment of stretch marks and removal of scars.
  3. Acne and post-acne treatment.
  4. Removal of wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet), around the mouth (bag).
  5. Elimination of skinlessness: on the neck, abdomen (postpartum abdomen).
  6. Adjusting the contour of the face.
  7. Removal of fibroids, nevi, papillomas, age spots, xanthelasma, dyseratosis.

Contraindications

  1. Diagnosed oncological diseases of any localization.
  2. Presence or suspicion of precancerous skin diseases in the affected area. Other benign neoplasms are not a contraindication for plasma rejuvenation.
  3. ENT diseases in the acute stage (sinusitis and other forms of sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis).
  4. Pregnancy period. At the same time, the procedure has a rather high safety profile, as it does not lead to systemic (general) changes and pronounced metabolic changes. And in medical publications, there are reports of successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women carrying a child. But it should not be forgotten that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy affect the condition of the skin and can change the effectiveness of the procedure.
  5. Breastfeeding period.
  6. Diseases of the blood, but at the same time, the presence of mild iron deficiency anemia with satisfactory health is usually not a reason to reject the anti-aging procedure.
  7. The acute period of infectious diseases, the presence of an increased body temperature.
  8. Diseases of the thyroid gland, accompanied by local or diffuse hypertrophy of its tissues and / or hormonal changes.
  9. Renal and hepatic insufficiency.
  10. Cardiovascular disease in the stage of decompensation.

How to perform the procedure

Plasma facial rejuvenation does not require special training, prior adherence to any diet or changes in the usual lifestyle. However, a few days before the session, it is advisable not to use aggressive scrubs and peels, to visit a solarium, and people with a tendency to allergic reactions should not try new products and cosmetics.

When using the device, even patients with a low pain threshold do not need local anesthesia. The healing / rejuvenating session lasts 15-30 minutes, its duration depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the treated area.

The patient is sitting in a beautician's chair or on a sofa, and the specialist performing the procedure contactlessly directs a pulsating current or a plasma current from the tip of the device onto her skin. At the same time, it is possible to choose the mode of operation that best suits a given patient. The session usually begins with pre-treating the skin to prepare it for subsequent stronger effects and to reduce the intensity of the sensations experienced. At the end of the procedure, the treated area should not be applied. For the next 3 days it is advisable to refrain from scrubs, peeling, visits to the beach and solarium.

The recommended number of procedures is 1-2 procedures per year.
